Applying Data Analytic Best Practice to Detect White Collar Crime Series-Part II

hosted by the IMA Queens College student chapter with guest speakers Jian Xiao, MBA, CPA, CGMA, CMA, Founder of Turning Point Solutions; Lawrence Vigna, CFE, Supervisory Forensic Accountant FBI Phoenix Division; and Suzanne Allen, CPA, Special Agent FBI Phoenix Division.


In Part II of this workshop, you will understand an effective data analytic framework described by the data analytic experts, learn the best practice for presenting the detected outcomes demonstrated by the FBI via the “Daylon Pierce” romance Investment Fraud, which was featured on the TV show American Greed, and Queens College students will showcase their findings from real-world cases focusing on drug/money laundering, Pell Grant, and investment fraud assigned by the FBI in Part I of the series (held on 4/21/2021 at 6:30pm-8:00pm EST), receive critiques from the FBI in real time, and get insights on how to develop your career in Forensic Accounting in the FBI sector.
